New Adventures

Just got back from Utah where we finished up our last film trip of the year!
You won’t be able to see any of the footage besides the original teaser until the premier in September 2012, though.

The trip is covering the globe and going back to China next year, as well. But this time with a helicopter!
I bring a full box of NOW Bars on every trip; Argentina, Frasier River B.C and Utah.
Next on the agenda for early 2012 is Nepal, India and the Gobi Desert, China.

The Descent part 2: Directors cut just came out, as well! It is a bit longer and has the helmet camera footage from the giant backflip at the end!

Ridin in the Desert

Utah was amazing! Only 3 days there: 1 scout/build day, and 2 ride days to make this happen and I think Kyle and I crushed it. NOW bars kill it in the desert. Convenient when you can’t pack a lunch. World\’s Biggest Backflip Drop – Cam Zink and Kyle Strait

Kokanee Crankworx 20011

Recently got back from an awesome time at Kokanee Crankworx. Won Teva Best Trick Showdown with a front flip and walked away with a nice chunk of change and placed second in the Redbull Joy ride. Check out my run. Redbull Joyride

Big Win in France!

Had an amazing few days in France this last weekend! Missed my flight going there and there wasn’t another one out till the next day. I knew I wouldn’t be totally screwed, but I was a little nervous that I would miss a lot of practice when everyone was already going to be there. Showed up with no sleep on the plane, up for 24 hours, and was the first rider on the course. From then on it just went well, as we were all having a blast on the amazingly fun course. Took the win, 5000 euros and a giant wheel of cheese. My Winning Run

Argentina

I recently went on a trip to Cafayate, Argentina for a film trip. We were filming for a Mt. Bike film and also a reality tv show about making the film. Probably one of the best trips I’ve ever been on; great riding, great food, good crew of filmers and riders… Just the best on all fronts.
