Team Jordan and NOW Raging along in ’12
April 26, 2012I’m about 4 months into the fantastic relationship with NOW Bar…and things couldn’t be better. It’s pretty cool to be having in my pack and my pocket, the best bar in the world…but hanging with EUROPA is cooler than ever.
I have big ambitions this year, and I need nutrition and support if I’m going to pull this stuff off. Of course my team (Dad and Super K) are always there for me. The ski season was off the hook. I progressed like I never thought I would, thanks to being on ‘on line’ school and having Super K as my personal teacher everywhere I go.
Just spent the last two weeks of the season at Lake Tahoe, my future home and home of skiing for me. That was incredible. Spent 8 hour days just charging the freestyle parks….feeling insanely strong. Seriously, I have a good paleo breaky, then about 11 pull out a Honeycomb with Chia/Raisin bar…then again about 2 in the afternoon, I do the same, and mix it up with the Peanut/Caramel. Some days I need 3…but it never lets me down. When I need fuel…NOW is there for me and never any issues. Heck, even in super arctic cold it’s easy to eat these bars.
On my way home from a business trip to NYC, I’ve had the amazing opportunity to hang out at the Europa World Headquarters in Charlotte, NC, and had a sushi-a-thon with the Big E, Eric Hillman. I got to ride in his amazing Hummer and then slug it out with eating pounds of Sushi. That dude can put it down…I think he beat me (this time), but I’ll be back to take you on Big E.
But the HUGE news is the Find Your Everest/NOW Mobile Sprinter…about to become a reality this summer. Me and the team needed a rig to tour the country for the Find YOUR Everest Tour, and the Sprinter is going to be it. STOKED! I’m getting my learning permit this summer and just might actually get some miles driving this cool rig across the country. DOUBLE stoked!
Highlights of this spring is I have been named ESPN’s Toughest High School Athlete…WHAT!!?? but cool… Then Outside Magazine listed me as one of 2011′s Adventure’s of the Year. Thanks guys….STOKED!!!!

The World Record, with N.O.W. Bar, in the bag…
January 10, 2012While schlepping around Antarctica, the food options were not abundant…to say the least.
It’s not often I get to take an item of food, or drink, or bar…of which I NEVER get tired of.
Have a NOW Bar for Breakfast, have one during the heat of battle on a climb. Roll over in the middle of the ‘night’, hungry and grab another NOW Bar. Then…to have some for the flight home. I NEVER EVER GET TIRED OF IT. This Manuka Honey and what ever else is in these things… I can’t get enough! Is it possible to be addicted to NOW Bars?
Bottom line is I’m HOOKED for life, and I’m double stoked that it’s the most nutritional bar I can get my hands on. Thanks Phil and the rest of the team at NOW BAR.

January 5, 2012Jordan has now become the youngest person to successfully climb the tallest mountain on each of the seven continents by the age of 15. Having set this goal at only 9 years old, Jordan has proved to himself and the world that you can achieve your goals by putting forth effort and determination.

December 12, 2011I could not be more proud of being partnered up with NOW.
I get to try a lot of bars, people send me all kinds of stuff to try. I rarely find something I like…UNTIL Now Bar. My dad handed this thing to me, I wolfed it down, with a resounding thumbs up and have not looked back since. It’s going to be put to the test during my climb of Mt Vinson this next week. This Manuka Honey is out of this world….we’re you guys been hiding this my whole life!!!???
